Welcome to the website of Boldmere Golf Club

Boldmere Golf club was established in 1936 originally as a 9 hole
golf course. The club boasts the oldest pro-am event in the World,
with top professionals joining the competition since it began in 1952. A
recent score of 56 by R.Bardsley from Moor Hall
Golf Club, in 2010, stands as the lowest round at Boldmere
golf club and a 7 under par round at Boldmere
with all of its challenging par 3's is no mean
feat. The par at Boldmere is 63 with a total of
4474 yards, although only a short course consisting of 10 par 3's, 7 par
4's and 1 par 5, it is found by all who play here to be a tricky and
challenging course due to the length of the long par 3's where many golfers
need a wood to reach.
The course is situated on the edge of Sutton Park
leading to some rewarding views across the La Reserve lake, as can
be seen from the above picture , especially on the
16th and the 18th. Some golfers’ shots end up closer to the lake than
they would prefer with a slight fade on the 18th!!
